Our main vision at GCC is to instill in every person a lifestyle of worship. But what exactly is worship? What does it look like, and where does it come from in our lives. Dive into Chronicles with us this week as we explore the definition of worship.

This week we explore who Christ is through the experiences of John the Baptist.  Sometimes we approach Jesus with the wrong attitude of worship, questioning what he can do for us, rather than knowing who He is.

Bobby and Michael team up again this week to talk about more practical ways we can share our faith in our daily lives.  We learn the importance of being Christ-like in our everyday situations, and we relieve some of the fears people may have about sharing Jesus with others.

This week Bobby Marcum joins pastor Michael Rogers as they talk about how to share our faith with others. We may not see the end of the domino effect caused by sharing our faith, but we can simply do our part.  Real, practical questions and fears about sharing your faith are addressed.

Ananias followed God's command and obeyed.  His simple obedience led to the transformation of Saul into Paul, the writer of most of the New Testament.  His writings and ministry led to the explosion of the Church into the world, and it's still changing lives today.  This Domino Effect can and does happen today. Whew! We have come to the end of our study of Ephesians and the end of the Head2Heart2Life series. This week we take a step back and look at the story of God in our lives.  As our sword, the story of God is eternal, and we can reach others with it.  Join us as we illustrate this through worship, prayer, and teaching.

This week we learn about the "helmet of salvation" Paul speaks about in Ephesians 6. Pastor Michael dives into the different uses of the word "mind" in the Bible. How does our helmet of salvation protect us?

Continuing with Ephesians chapter 6, this week we learn about the Shield of Faith.  The imagery that was being evoked in these scriptures is poignant to our view of faith.  How and why is faith like a shield, and how can we use it?

We learn this week about how we are called to bless those who do evil to us.  But what does evil mean? What situations exist that this applies to?  As Jesus transforms our lives, we learn the meaning of these verses.

This week we learn about the breastplate of righteousness that Paul tells us to put on in Chapter 6 of Ephesians.  What does righteousness mean?  How can we become righteous?  Pastor Michael Rogers looks as these questions and more in this message.

Continuing our Head2Heart2Life super-series, this week we again explore what it means to put on the whole armor of God.  We hear about the belt of Truth, and the protection and faith it can give us. May God transform our lives.

This week we learn why Paul tells us to put on the full armor of God.  We begin the third section of our super-series Head2Heart2Life that explores the entire book of Ephesians.  Nearing the end of the book, we are trying to allow God to inform our head so that we can reform our hearts and live transformed lives.

This week as we learn to reform our hearts, we look at the analogy of a table. One of the most difficult sections of the book of Ephesians is where Paul tells the church to submit to one another. More than just within a marriage, we are to submit to one another in the church. But what does that look like? How can we do this the way God intended. Join us as we explore.

GCC is excited to present a new series that will go through the entire book of Ephesians.  That's right...the entire book.  Entitled Head2Heart2Life, over the course of this series we will inform our heads, conform our hearts, and transform our lives.  In the first of three sections of this series, we'll be focusing on informing our heads.  Join us as we embark on this journey together!

We finish our series on the 23rd Psalm by looking at the sixth and final verse.  We have examined much about the nature of our relationship with God in this psalm.  Join us as we learn about goodness and mercy.

We reach verse five of the 23rd Psalm this week.  Where in your life has the peace of God not yet reached?  The battle has been won, yet sometimes we do not realize it.

We reach verse 4 of the 23rd Psalm this week, discovering what it means to walk "through the valley of the shadow of death." God takes us where we need to go, leading us like the good Shepherd. In His path we'll find what it is we need from Him.

Week three of our series on the 23rd Psalm focuses on verse 3.  We learn how God intends to restore our soul and lead us in paths of righteousness.  What does God want us to be like?  What does it mean to be on a path of righteousness?  Join us as we discover truths in God's word.

Continuing our exploration of the 23rd Psalm, this week we dive into verse 2.  What does this scripture say about the Lord's role as shepherd and our place as his flock?  Pastor Michael Rogers teaches us the importance of the Shepherd in our lives through this beautiful and famous verse.

In his first series as senior pastor of GCC, Pastor Michael Rogers will be dissecting the famous 23rd Psalm.  In this first week, we look at verse 1 and delve into each word, learning what it truly means when it says "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."

Bobby Marcum shares with us again this week, this time diving into the story of Mary.  How did she respond when asked to bear the Son of God? What challenges did she face that echo the challenges we may face today when asked by God to do something? 

Guest speaker and long-time church member Bobby Marcum shares with us again an energetic message.  This week he correlates our walk with Christ with the game of basketball.  See how we can use this well known sport as a metaphor to help us understand some tough spiritual concepts.

Newly hired senior minister Michael Rogers shares with us the second message from Luke 7: 36-50. We, like the woman who washed Jesus' feet should be willing to be servants of Christ with our all. And unlike the pharisee who looked down upon this woman, Jesus offers himself to all, no invitation necessary.

Our current pastoral candidate, Michael Rogers, shares his first message with GCC this week. Using the story in Luke, Michael outlines how Jesus responded to the woman who washed his feet with her hair. Some of us have much to be forgiven for, while others of us feel we have little debt to pay. May we never forget that Jesus died for our every debt, and that each one of us shares the same invitation to Christ.

So many things can occupy the "throne" of our lives.  We allow them to take the head position, dictating our every decision.  In this Easter message, Ross argues why Jesus should be in this position in your life.

Ross Brodfuehrer joins us again for the Easter season.  In this Palm Sunday message Ross confronts again the concept of our mental image of Jesus.  The image that we have of Jesus often reflects how we live our Christian lives.  Though it may contain truth, if there are parts of our picture of Christ that are lacking, we leave room for Satan to work in our minds.

In the last of his series, David Baird shares with us yet another perspective of the cross of Jesus from those who witnessed it.  This time we learn of the transforming power of the cross as experienced by those who discovered it as bystanders.

David Baird joins us again, this time outlining the reaction of the Disciples to the cross of Jesus.  The Disciples scattered like sheep when faced with the reality of what the cross meant.  How will we respond when faced with the cross?

Nearly 2000 years separate us from Jesus' death on the cross, and consequently we can become numb to the reality of it.  David Baird joins us this week beginning a series outlining different reactions to the cross of Jesus.  May we not be like the soldiers that crucified Jesus, unmoved by the cross.

GCC youth leader Joe Rollins shares with us two examples from the Bible of faith displayed.  One is amazing even to Jesus, and the other is more like the faith we often display in our lives. 

We had a very unique service in this our third and final message from this series by Ross Brodfuehrer. Incorporating worship, Ross challenges us to confront our possibly worldly images of God and Jesus. By conforming our internal view of who God is to a truly biblical view, we can make a step towards living in the Spirit, not the flesh or the Law.

This week as we continue our series with guest speaker Ross Brodfuehrer, we further explore the three ways by which we can lead our lives. We can live in the flesh, or worldly desires; in the law, or legalistically; or through the Spirit, how God desires us to live. This week we learn a few ways to begin to live in the Spirit and not the other two.

Galations points out that there are three ways by which we can lead our lives.  The three ways are living through the Flesh, through the Law, and finally, living through the Spirit.  Join us as Ross Brodfuehrer teaches.

John Madden is famously jeered for stating the obvious in his sports announcing.  Sometimes, however, we as Christians can get caught up in all the details, and we need to hear the obvious again.  Join us as youth minister Jeremy Kane shares.

One of the greatest privileges we have as Christians is access to our Heavenly Father.  Through our faith, we are gain this privilege that Jesus bought for us.

In order to enter into the rest of God, we must be diligent and work hard.  It seems paradoxical, but we must remain steadfast in our walk with God so we can find the rest he promises.  Join us in this the second in a series from the book of Hebrews by Dick Clifford.

Guest speaker Dick Clifford delivered a message this week from the book of Hebrews. In this three-part series, Mr. Clifford will share with us messages of encouragement from the book of Hebrews. In this message he shows us how we must be careful in order to fully enter into God's rest.

Kevin Becht, the Southern Indiana Director of Youth For Christ, shared with us this message on being a part of people's lives.  He discussed how Jesus modeled this with the woman at the well.  By learning this lesson, we can see the tremendous impact we can have in people's lives.

It's in our time of hardship that we have the opportunity to show God to the world. If we take the example of Paul and learn to press on, we can be a tremendous influence on those around us. In the last message of our Christmas series, guest speaker Doug McArthur shares with us one final reason for the season of Christmas. It is to be a time of peace on earth, a time of reconciliation.

Concluding a series on thankfulness, guest speaker Justin Bilyeu shares with us the importance of the resurrection of Jesus.  Without this important part of the story of Christ, the rest would hold little power. So we can thank God for the resurrection of His Son!

In our fifth of six lessons in this series, Junior Waterbury discusses how we can be afraid of intimacy.  It is one of the jobs of the Church to provide community for God's people, and we should show God's love to others through the church.
